Bra check: Does my bra fit properly?

Wearing the right bra size is essential. Not only so that Your décolleté is properly emphasizedbut also so that Consequential damage such as back pain or skin friction can be prevented can. You don't know if you are wearing the right bra size? If you have often asked yourself the question "How does my bra fit properly?"then you've come to the right place.

We'll take you with us and show you step by step how to recognize the right bra fit with the SugarShape bra check.

Check #1: Does the underbust band fit correctly?

  1. Bend down, come back up and stretch your arms in the air. Now stand to the side of the mirror and see if Your underbust band still parallel to the floor is lying against your body. Has it ridden up?
  2. Pull your underbust band away from your body... Does your fist fit loosely between the band and your back?
  3. A new bra should best to be closed only in the first hookas it will widen with time and after several washes. Can you simply close your bra completely or could you even tie it?

If even one point applies, you are probably wearing an underbust band that is too loose. That's why it's important for you to wear the right underbust band: 80% of the support comes from the underbust band (with a matching bra). Only 20 % of the load is distributed across the beams. But if a Band selected too large no support guaranteed can easily cause neck tension, back pain, headaches or even deformation of the shoulders. The bra should fit snugly but not restrict your breathing or freedom of movement.

The underbust straps of our bras such as the "True" lake or "Pure Conscious Strappy" flamingo are made in such a way that they are tight enough to optimally support the weight of your chest. Bras expand over time, so your SugarShape bra should initially only be able to be fastened on the first or second hook.

Check#2: Do the cups fit correctly?

  1. Your curves should lie completely in the cups of your bra and from the Ironing to be included. Underwires that rest on the breast tissue can cause damage to your health! We recommend making sure that the Underwire your entire breast base outlined (including the sides). To do this, reach into your cups and stroke the breast from the armpits into the cups. Also make sure that your straps are adjusted correctly, that they don't cut in but don't slip either.
  2. We also recommend that you shake your shoulders and let your chest fall loosely into the cups. Bend forward slightly and straighten up again. The center bar should now lie flat against your ribcage and separate the breasts.
  3. Stand with your back straight, relax your shoulders and turn sideways to the mirror. Check that the cups are still framing your breasts and that the upper cup rim closes cleanly.

If your décolleté now has a has a "double breast" and the Cups cut into your breastthen Your cups are too small for your curves. The underbust band is often too wide and the cups cannot be held properly against the body.
